I'm a react native developer and augmented reality enthousiast. Last year I started my journey with react native and have been in love with it ever since. Besides that I am king of side projects with different languages such as Swift, Node.js and C#
I’m Charaf, but people call me “Chaffie.” I’m a frontend/mobile developer, and I specialize in efficient React and react-native apps that just work across all platforms and browsers.
I care deeply about building interfaces that are usable and pleasant for the most number of people possible.

Where it all began and how I became a software developer!
It all started with a passion for engineering at the time for me. I wanted to become a Marine officer and focused on a lot of technical courses.
At the end of my highschool at Sint-Laurens college I shifted my focus on creative business and retail management. Where I would focus on innovative business development.
After the first two years at the Rotterdam university of applied sciences. I had to make a site of my own.
The journey from having zero development experience to being able to set-up my first site with Html, Css and Javascript was amazing.
In fact I enjoyed it so much that I decided to focus more on development next to my school.
In my third year I decided to follow an internship at Yard digital agency in Utrecht city as a React-native developer
Here I was able to develop a community like app. This would become the base of a white-label project they had for their websites. This turned out to be a very educational project for me.
In the same period I also started out react-native Rotterdam meetups. To share knowledge and news with like-minded people.
All these projects and experience the last couple of years brought me to a amazing digital agency based in Amsterdam called Label A
Currently following an apprenticeship here where I work alongside other developers on the creation of a new online platform for a start-up.
I am also available for any freelance opportunities at the moment. With my knowledge of both React and React-native I could assist businesses in their development of possible new online products.
